ဤသို႔ထင္ျမင္ယူဆခ်င္ပါသည္

မိုးခါးေရဆိုသည္မွာအမွန္ေတာ့ေသာက္လို႔ေကာင္းေသာအရာတခုမဟုတ္သည္ကိုလူသားတိုင္းသိရွိေပလိမ့္မည္။

ကံကို ယံုၾကည္လြန္းသူမ်ားျဖစ္ေလရာ ကိစၥတိုင္း ေရွးဘဝကုသိုလ္ကံေၾကာင့္ဟုယူဆ၍ေျဖသိမ့္ႏွစ္သိမ့္တတ္သူ

ေသာေခတ္စံနစ္အတြင္းႀကီးျပင္းရေသာအေၾကာင္းတရားမ်ားကဘာသာေရးကိုပို၍နက္ရွိဳင္္းစြာယံုၾကည္အားထား

လာေစရေသာအက်ိဳးတရားတခုျဖစ္သည္ဟုမိမိကဆိုလွ်င္ထိုအခ်က္ကိိုျငင္းခုန္မည့္စာဖတ္ပရိသတ္မ်ားေျမာက္မ်ား

တကယ္ေတာ့ျဖစ္သင့္၏ စစ္ဘီလူးတို႔အေနျဖင့္ အျပစ္မဲ့ရဟန္းျပည္သူတို႔ကိုပစ္ခတ္သတ္ျဖတ္ရာတြင္

ေကာင္းပါ့မလား၊ သင့္ပါ့မလား ဟူေသာ လားေပါင္းမ်ားစြာ မေရာယွက္ခဲ့ၾကေပ။

'Yellow color' worshippers in Shwedagon

A month after the monk-led protests' in September, several people in yellow clothes gathered today in the Shwedagon pagoda in Rangoon , eyewitnesses said. Local residents, who visited the shrine, said several people came in the evening to Shwedagon, which was the central location during last month's protests, with yellow coloured candles to pray for peace.

Burma allows human rights visit

Mr Pinheiro has not visited Burma since November 2003
The military government in Burma has agreed to allow the UN's expert on human rights to visit after refusing permission for four years.
Paolo Sergio Pinheiro, who visits countries to check on their
human rights performance, made repeated requests to visit during that time.
Burmese Foreign Minister Nyan Win wrote to the UN
suggesting that Mr Pinheiro could arrive before mid-November.
The UN's special envoy to Burma is also hoping to be allowed to return soon.
Ibrahim Gambari is currently in India awaiting a visa.
On an initial visit just after the military's crackdown on mass protests in September, he met both the military and jailed opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
Key questions
Speaking from the US, Mr Pinheiro welcomed news of his invitation, telling Reuters news agency it was "an important sign that the government wants to engage again in constructive dialogue with the UN and the Human Rights Council".
Louise Arbour, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, said it was important for the UN to establish the true scale of Burma's bloody crackdown.
"We have to find out what has happened to these people who demonstrated," she told reporters in Ottawa, Canada.
"Where are they? How many - credibly - have been killed? How many are still detained [and] under what conditions?"
The timing of the invitation is significant because of a summit of the Association of South-East Asian Nations (Asean) due to open on 17 November, the BBC's Laura Trevelyan reports from the UN.
Asean has been severe in its condemnation of the Burmese regime's repression of the protests and if Burma can be seen to be co-operating by letting Mr Pinheiro in, that could take the sting out of further criticism, our UN correspondent reports.
Urgent visit
Mr Gambari is for his part hoping to try and start political talks between the Burmese government and Ms Suu Kyi.
The US Ambassador to the UN, Zalmay Khalilzad, has appealed for Mr Gambari to be allowed to return.
"We are calling on all those with influence to redouble their efforts to get Mr Gambari there as quickly as possible," he said.
"The Burmese have said he can come but at a later date in November. We would like to see that happen as soon as possible."
While in India, Mr Gambari is pressing for Asian nations to take the lead in resolving the political crisis in Burma.
Western nations are trying to maintain public pressure on the generals by imposing further sanctions and calling for political progress.
But diplomats say the Burmese government is most likely to respond to prodding from China and India, countries in the region with significant trade links, our UN correspondent adds.

News photographer missing, eight other journalists still detained

Reporters Without Borders voiced concern today about a news photographer’s disappearance and condemned the continuing detention of eight journalists, three of whom were arrested at the beginning of the wave of demonstrations by Buddhist monks and the ensuing crackdown. The organisation fears more arrests.
“Despite the UN General Assembly’s condemnation and the reactions of many governments, the generals still refuse to release hundreds of detained protesters,” the press freedom organisation said. “We call in particular for the immediate release of all detained journalists.”
Ko Thu Ya Soe, a 30-year-old photographer who works for the German agency EPA, has been missing since the start of October. He was last seen taking photos near the Sule pagoda in Rangoon. No one, not even his family, has any idea where he is.
Among the journalists still held are Win Ko Ko Latt, a reporter for Weekly Eleven Journal who was arrested on 27 September, Win Saing, a photographer arrested on 28 August, and Nay Linn Aung, a reporter for 7-Days Journal.
Writer Maung Yan Paing, cameraman Mi Htin Ko Ko Gyi, actor Kyaw Thu and his wife, poet Ye Lwin, who is also the singer of the MizzimaWave Band, and the comedian Zargana, also known as the “Burmese Charlie Chaplin,” have all been released. Zargana, who was arrested in Rangoon on 25 September after openly supporting the monks, was freed on 17 October.
Khin Mar Lar, the wife of journalist and documentary filmmaker Nyein Thit (also known as Thaung Tun), was released on 19 October. She had been arrested on 25 September in the Mandalay suburb of Amarapura. Nyein Thit has been in hiding since the start of the demonstrations. When the security forces went to arrest him, they found only his wife and children. Although she had not taken part in any demonstration, they took his wife, leaving the children to fend for themselves. They are freelance photo-reporter Thaung Sein, Ko Moe Htun of the newspaper Dhamah-Yate, independent journalist Ne Min, Monywa Aung-Shin of the newspaper Sar-maw-khung and Win Tin of the newspaper Hanthawathi.

US tightens screws on Burma's generals

PRESIDENT George Bush expanded US sanctions against Burma's rulers yesterday, accusing them of "vicious persecution" of democracy protesters and urging China and India to step up pressure on their neighbour.
Unveiling the second package of US measures in less than a month, Mr Bush said he was adding more of Burma's military leaders to a list already facing sanctions and had ordered a tightening of US export controls on the regime.
But in a tacit admission that US steps alone would not be enough, he urged China, India and other nations in the region to "review their own laws and policies" on Burma.
"Burma's rulers continue to defy the world's just demands to stop their vicious persecution," Mr Bush told reporters. "They continue to reject the clear will of the Burmese people to live in freedom under leaders of their own choosing."
The President's latest announcement followed weeks of mostly unsuccessful international efforts to get Burma's Government to ease repression of protesters and open a dialogue with detained opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
The junta has kept a tight lid on the country since crushing protests led by Buddhist monks that began in September and grew into the largest anti-government demonstrations in 20 years. Official media said 10 people died.
Mr Bush last month targeted 14 military leaders and toughened US measures that had been in place for years but had forced little change.
"In light of the ongoing atrocities by these men and their associates, the United States has today imposed additional sanctions," Mr Bush said yesterday.
He designated 11 more leaders under existing sanctions, including a freeze on US assets, and also named 12 new "individuals and entities" to be covered by US penalties.
The White House said the tightening of export controls would include a ban on the sale of high-performance computers to Burma.
Mr Bush demanded that the International Committee of the Red Cross be given access to political prisoners, that Ms Suu Kyi and other detained leaders be allowed to communicate with each other and that UN envoy Ibrahim Gambari be allowed back.
"And ultimately, reconciliation requires that Burmese authorities release all political prisoners and begin negotiations with the democratic opposition under the auspices of the United Nations," he said.
The US would "consider additional measures if Burma's leaders do not end the brutal repression".
Mindful of the limits of US influence with Burma, Mr Bush renewed his appeal for China and India to do more.
China, the closest the isolated junta has to an ally, has expressed concern about the crackdown. It helped facilitate Mr Gambari's visit earlier this month but has been reluctant to go further.

BANGKOK, Thailand -- Women in several countries have begun sending their panties to Myanmar embassies in a culturally insulting gesture of protest against the recent brutal crackdown there, a campaign supporter said Friday.
"It's an extremely strong message in Burmese and in all Southeast Asian culture,'' said Liz Hilton, who supports an activist group that launched the "Panties for Peace'' drive earlier this week.
The group, Lanna Action for Burma, says the country's superstitious generals, especially junta leader Gen. Than Shwe, also believe that contact with women's underwear saps them of power.
To widespread international condemnation, the military in Myanmar, also known as Burma, crushed mass anti-regime demonstrations recently and continues to hunt down and imprison those who took part.
Hilton said women in Thailand, Australia, Singapore, England and other European countries have started sending or delivering their underwear to Myanmar missions following informal coordination among activist organizations and individuals.
"You can post, deliver or fling your panties at the closest Burmese Embassy any day from today. Send early, send often!'' the Lanna Action for Burma website urges.
"So far we have had no response from Burmese officials,'' Hilton said.
